We're seeking a motivated Technician 1 to join our team! If you enjoy working with computers and electronics, learning new skills, and being part of a team that gets things done, this is the perfect opportunity for you. We provide comprehensive training, and when combined with your expertise, will help us all grow!
What You'll Do:
- Dive into the Tech: Process and refurbish various types of electronic and industrial equipment. Products can include computer systems, laptops, cameras, printers, circuit breakers, and Macs, Printers and all .
- Maximize Reuse: Test and recover valuable components for reuse, contributing to sustainability. May perform some break-fix services.
- Keep Things Organized: Accurately enter equipment details and test results in our in-house database.
- Learn and Grow: Master our processes and procedures, with ample opportunity for skill development.
- Be a Team Player: Tackle other tasks as assigned, contributing to our team's success.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of different types of hardware, software, and security methodologies (preferred).
- Job-related certificates or experience (a plus!).
- Capable of regularly lifting up to 35 pounds and standing or sitting for extended periods (up to 4 hours).
- Ability to use standard and precision hand tools to perform repairs or minor part/component harvesting.
- Experience working in a warehouse setting and moving products with a manual pallet jack (helpful!).
- Great communication and organization skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) (a plus!).
